Pupils from the gardening club at St Mary’s CofE Primary School in Chiddingfold enjoyed a special educational visit to Elivia Homes’ new Oakland Grove development, where they helped install bug hotels and learned more about biodiversity and sustainable construction.
The local school gardening club visited the boutique development to discover how nature and new homes can work together to support local wildlife and create thriving communities. During the visit, the children worked alongside the Elivia Homes team to position bug hotels around the site, helping to encourage insects and pollinators to flourish in the area.
The session also gave pupils the opportunity to learn more about biodiversity, habitats and the role sustainable construction can play in protecting the environment.
