Regional housebuilder Elivia Homes has acquired a premium new site in the hamlet of Winkfield Row, Berkshire.
The land at White Gates, off Gardeners Road, already has outline planning permission for 42 properties and is allocated in the Bracknell Forest Local Plan. Elivia Homes is now working up a Reserved Matters application which seeks to deliver both private properties and affordable housing.
Elivia’s proposed design will incorporate open space with ample tree planting and a new access road created off the existing Carnation Drive development.
Each home will be thoughtfully designed to reflect the local architectural style and will feature Elivia Homes’ high-quality materials and superior specifications. Properties will incorporate the latest green technologies, including sustainably sourced timber-frame construction, superior levels of insulation, air source heat pumps, sustainable drainage solutions and electric vehicle charging points. Some homes will also feature solar PV panels.
This development follows the success of Elivia’s Kings Hart View in nearby Warfield, which sold its final property in spring this year.
Andrew Harvey, Associate Land Director at Elivia Homes Central, comments: “We are delighted to have acquired the land for our latest development in Berkshire, and to bring the Elivia brand back to this wonderful county following the recent completion of Kings Hart View. We are in the process of preparing a Reserved Matters planning application to cement our plans for this site, which will include a variety of house types for both local people and those wanting to move to this picturesque part of the Berkshire countryside.”
Winkfield Row offers something for everyone. Residents can enjoy an enviable pace of life with beautiful open spaces and amenities right on the doorstep. The village offers access to a local primary school, Winkfield St Mary's Church of England, and Lambrook, a co-educational independent preparatory school for both day and boarding pupils.
Bracknell’s town centre is less than a 10-minute drive away, with a wide variety of high street shops, restaurants, and Bracknell train station offers a direct train to Waterloo. For fun family days’ out, Winkfield is in close proximity to festive favourite, Lapland UK, as well as Legoland and Windsor Castle, not to mention just a 5-minute drive to Ascot Racecourse.
