Construction begins on exclusive new homes in Four Marks

News | 31 Mar 2026

Construction is now underway on Mulberry Grove, an exclusive new development in Four Marks, as premium housebuilder Elivia Homes brings forward 10 luxury homes to the Hampshire village.

The boutique scheme on Telegraph Lane is set within 5.83 acres and will deliver nine four-bedroom detached houses and one three-bedroom chalet bungalow. All homes have been designed to offer generous space, high specification and strong sustainability credentials.

Each property will feature a double garage and substantial garden space, with some plots extending to around half an acre. Externally, the homes will blend traditional Hampshire materials including red brick, flint and slate tiles, while interiors will feature high-quality finishes such as Silestone worktops, luxury tiling and flooring, integrated appliances and built in wardrobes – making these homes ready to move into.

Sustainability is central to Elivia’s approach at Mulberry Grove. Homes will incorporate air source heat pumps and electric vehicle charging points and the scheme benefits from retained trees and shrubbery around the perimeter of the development. Ensuring local wildlife also has a home, there will be a number of biodiversity enhancements. Properties will feature bird, bee and bat bricks and there will be a new log pile for reptiles, mammals, invertebrates and amphibians.

Chris Bysouth, Construction Director at Elivia Homes Central, said: “We are delighted to have started work on this exceptional site in Four Marks. With only ten homes available at Mulberry Grove, this will be a small and carefully considered development that reflects both the character of the village and the needs of today’s buyers.

“Four Marks continues to be a highly desirable location, with Telegraph Lane particularly synonymous locally with offering premium properties. After completing a development in Medstead several years ago, we’re pleased to be investing in the area once again.”

Located four miles from Alton, 13 miles from Winchester and adjacent to the South Downs National Park, Mulberry Grove combines rural surroundings with good commuter links and access to well-rated local schools.

The well-connected village comprises a range of local amenities including shops, cafés and a Post Office, making day-to-day life easy without the need to travel far. The variety of local businesses include independent restaurants offering multiple cuisines, as well as a florist, bakery and family-owned wine merchants.

Positioned on the A31 and just a short drive from Alton, the village also provides access to mainline rail services to London Waterloo in just over an hour, making it an attractive choice for commuters and hybrid workers alike.

Surrounded by attractive Hampshire countryside, Four Marks is ideal for those seeking an active, outdoor lifestyle, with recreation grounds, sports facilities and scenic walking routes on the doorstep. Its location also places residents within easy reach of nearby destinations such as Winchester, offering a wider choice of shopping, dining and cultural attractions.

The show home and marketing suite at Mulberry Grove is scheduled to open in early 2027. Visit the Mulberry Grove webpage to find out more and register your interest for updates on this forthcoming development.
