A Smashing Tribute: Concerts at Eastbourne Bandstand

Think BST Hyde Park with sea views. The iconic Eastbourne Bandstand is set to shine this summer with a show-stopping line-up of tribute acts. Spanning decades of music legends, the impressive programme features unforgettable performances inspired by Elvis, ABBA, ELO, Fleetwood Mac, Kylie, Taylor Swift, and many more. With its unique blend of nostalgia, seaside charm, and heritage, it’s the perfect setting for a summer night to remember. Food and drink are also on offer, so families can enjoy refreshments whilst soaking in and enjoying the electric atmosphere. 

Get Lost in Fun: Cowdray’s Wild West Maize Maze

Cowdray’s Maize Maze returns this summer, this time it is bigger and better than ever. With brand-new Wild West theming, it’s the perfect summer day out for families. Kids can explore the maze, complete with a stamp trail, and interact with themed stations along the way. Also on offer is a pick-your-own sunflower and wildflower patch, a café serving local food and refreshments, and plenty of picnic space for those wanting to sit back and relax. On Friday nights, the golf club also offers Sip & Snip evenings with flower picking, live music, and delicious street food, making for the perfect fun-filled day (and night) for all ages. 

Nose to Nose with Nature: ‘Zooper’ Summer at Drusillas Park

If you’re after some outdoor family fun this summer, look no further than Drusillas Park, where adventure is waiting around every corner. Get nose-to-nose with over 80 fascinating animal species, including curious capybaras, playful meerkats, and the adorable red panda. Young explorers can dive into discovery with a free spotter book and tackle exciting Zoolympics challenges scattered along the zoo trail. Families can also soak up the sunshine in Get Wet, the park’s super splash pad, and go wild in the indoor playground on site too.

Centenary Saturdays at Drusillas Park

This year also marks a milestone for Drusillas Park, celebrating its 100th anniversary. The park is hosting two “Centenary Saturdays” in honour of the milestone, which will see a host of special events and surprises for guests, guaranteeing memories for all the family that will last a lifetime. 

Tidy up at Bateman’s: Pete the Badger’s Tidy Trail

Step into the pages of Tidy by Emily Gravett and join Pete the Badger and his woodland friends at Bateman’s for a summer packed with adventure and discovery.
