Crayfern Homes was acquired by Vanderbilt in 2019. With a vision of delivering sustainable corporate growth through market leading operations and a relentless focus on quality, the combined business doubled in size in little over two years and now has a turnover in excess of £100m. Elivia Homes will deliver over 250 homes this financial year across Surrey, West Sussex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
The business strategy focuses on sustainable development, driven by an ambitious land acquisition programme, investment in digital technologies, in-house design capability and a commitment to skills and training. Elivia Homes will pursue its sustainability charter by investing in innovative fabric-first design and offsite building methods, while continuing to maximise the biodiversity and energy efficiency of its schemes to enhance the communities in which it builds.
Chris Chiles, Group Managing Director of Elivia Homes, comments: "In the two years since we acquired Crayfern Homes, we have taken a considered approach to integration, benefitting from collaboration, and taking learnings and best practice from both businesses. We have also significantly scaled-up our operations in that time, creating a successful and sustainable company with a robust platform for growth."
"We're delighted to now be moving into a new phase of our journey under one brand that will deliver a compelling proposition for our customers and business partners. With the support of our shareholders and our fantastic people, we have a clear path to becoming a £250m turnover business with an enviable reputation as one of the most trusted and admired homebuilders across the South East.
"Our rebrand has been inspired and conceived in collaboration with our colleagues and partners. We are proud to restate and amplify our purpose with a new website, social media channels and fresh look across our developments."
